Trust & Transparency

Editorial Policy & Review Standards

Dubai nightlife changes quickly. This policy explains what our labels mean, which evidence we use, and what readers should independently confirm before spending money or travelling.

Source hierarchy

We prefer dated official venue or event pages, venue-owned social updates, authorized ticketing pages, and direct venue confirmations. Third-party roundups are discovery leads, not final proof.

Freshness labels

Time-sensitive listings show a last-check date. Our target recheck interval is seven days. A “recheck due” label means the information must be confirmed live before booking or travel.

Events lifecycle

Fixed-date events are separated from recurring offers. Expired events are archived and removed from active calendars and XML sitemaps rather than presented as upcoming.

Bylines and visits

Content is attributed to the Dubai Party Life Editorial Team unless a contributor has a public, verifiable profile. We only claim an onsite visit when a real visitor, date, and note are recorded.

DPL editorial score

An internal editorial score for venue fit and experience. It is not a Google rating, customer-review average, or live popularity measure. Scores may consider experience fit, programming, setting, service proposition, booking friction, and value guidance.

Commercial relationships

A concierge inquiry or referral opportunity does not change the verification standard. Venue prices, deposits, inclusions, availability, and door policies remain controlled by the venue or authorized operator.

Corrections

If a date, price, venue rule, image attribution, or booking link is wrong, send the page URL, the disputed detail, and an official source. We will review material corrections and update the visible check date only after the source is rechecked.
